Uncommon Retreat

Developing exceptional leaders through Uncommon Experience

Who we are.

Uncommon Retreats was founded by Christian Ruf, a 160th Special Operations DAP Pilot. Christian recognized the need for camaraderie and challenge based leadership training in the civilian market, and assembled a team of SOF Veterans and Entrepreneurs to bring his vision to life.

What We DO

Uncommon Retreats are 4 day Leadership training gauntlets. We do hard things, together as a team, and through focused evolutions we teach leadership and operations qualities that are required for exceptional performance in business, and in life.

Who are Uncommon Retreats For?

Uncommon Retreats are for entrepreneurs, business owners, and executives looking to improve their leadership and operational capabilities in their business.

What Can I expect?

Retreats are held over 4 days. They are combination of physical and mental evolutions that will challenge you. Our highest priority is giving you mental and physical tools to take with you and apply. There is no yelling, no BS fake bravado and wannabe bootcamp at our retreats. Our instructors participate in all challenges right alongside attendees.

When are Uncommon Retreats held?

Our Retreats are held across the continental USA, typically in mountains states in the South East or North West. You can check the "upcoming retreats" section to see when and where they are being held next

Can I Bring my team to Uncommon Retreats?

Yes you may. A common question from many attendees is if multiple people can attend from their business, board, department head team, and the like. We embrace working with teams, and will tailor the experience to suit your particular group. Please let us know in the inquiry and we will arrange accordingly
